The instructors from the Altoona Academy of Tae Kwon-Do have served as great role models for the children in Public Housing at Fairview Hills.

As part of the Altoona Housing Authority’s Public Housing Drug Elimination Grant Program, the AATKD is a sub-contractor which provides 8-week programs for our Monday Parent and Kids Night Out.

The children that have participated have shown remarkable progress in self-control, respect for others and a greater ability to follow directions.

The Altoona Housing Authority is proud to be affiliated with the Altoona Academy of Tae Kwon-Do and looks forward to continuing programming with the school for years to come.
