Dear Master DiLeo,

Approximately seven years ago my family and I came to the Altoona Academy. Our first intention was for an activity for our children. We watched and listened to Master Bender and yourself and realized that you were advocating the same values, morals, and wisdom that we were teaching our children ourselves. The children were sold on the fun part and soon began asking my wife and me to join. We had found an activity that the whole family could do and enjoy.

The physical activity proved challenging and rewarding. Achieving the goal of black belt was not easy but was realized. But along with the black belt came other achievements. We met people who have become second family and have formed lasting relationships. Our children have grown and gone on to other areas of interest but take with them the focus, perseverance, self-control, and integrity that your school has taught them. And because of this they have excelled in their new endeavors. After being away for any period of time, they know they can return to a warm “welcome back” and pick up their training where they left off.

The growth of your school and you expansion into other areas of the communities can only be due to your outstanding style of teaching and your commitment to maintaining theses standards. For this I commend you, Master Bender, your teaching staff and all involved in the Altoona Academy of Tae Kwon-Do.

Sincerely,

Dr. Joseph L. Kaczor
