I am pleased to send this letter in response to your recent request regarding our experience with your program. As you know, Joel has been a member of your school for about three years, and typically has attended classes three times a week during that time. While Sandy takes him most days, I try to attend once a week when possible, and I also have been present on testing days and at tournaments. Therefore, I feel well qualified to make the comments that follow. The Tae Kwon-Do program has been very important to all of us. Joel looks forward to his classes (most days!), and we have seen wonderful results in his training. For me, the ability to defend oneself seemed sufficient reason to start the school, but I later learned of so many other benefits. The physical conditioning is remarkable, and we see the results even in this eight year-old child. The camaraderie with the other students and with the other instructors is also wonderful to witness. Truly, all of your five tenets are taught to the students in a wonderful way: Courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit! Sandy and I are most pleased with your program, and have been happy to recommend it to other parents and students. We look forward to continuing to watch Joel progress through the various stages, and hopefully soon earning the right to join the status of Black Belt. Sincerely, Jack D. Schoker
