We have been serving Central Pennsylvania since 1988.

We are the ONLY martial arts school in the area with 4 Master instructors, two of which are full-time professionals.

All of our instruction is conducted by certified Black Belts.

We have tremendous depth in our instructional staff. Among the Master instructors alone, we have nearly 100 years of combined experience in Tae Kwon-Do. Our remaining staff consists of men and women with advance Black Belt rank and experience. Our instructional personnel receive regular training to maintain the latest classroom drills, techniques, and class procedures in order to provide the highest level of martial arts training in Central PA.

All four of our Master Instructors have PA ACT 34 and PA Act 121 clearances.

Our Instructor-to-student ratio is generally no more than 7 to 1 for children and approximately 10 to 1 for adults.

Our rank and system lineage can be traced to the very founder of Tae Kwon-Do, General Choi Hong Hi.

Safety is a top priority and as such, the Altoona Academy of Tae Kwon-Do practices only safe instruction. We have stern disciplinary policies regarding excessive contact and dangerous conduct.

We are fully insured.

We have strongly supported our community with tireless charitable activities and donations. Among our major fundraisers are the annual Children's Miracle Network, and Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.

Our pricing is very competitive and we offer a family plan that makes Tae Kwon-Do very affordable for everyone in the house to enjoy as a family activity. All tuition payments are monthly. There are No Contracts at the Altoona Academy of Tae Kwon-Do. We rely on competent instruction and unparalleled customer service for student satisfaction.
